Enthusiasm and dedication key in Mabel’s recent grading success
Mabel pictured receiving her certificate and yellow belt from club instructors Luke Jackson and Denzil Searle after impressing them with her dedication during lockdown.
Mabel, a student of Sennen Karate Club missed our last grading at the end of March due to COVID-19, was one of only a handful of students who continued to train every week during lockdown via our online classes on YouTube.
Her standard continues to be of a good level and she always shows a good understanding of what is asked of her. Mabel is also very keen to help out her fellow students often helping them when they are struggling with a certain technique.
For someone of such a young age Mabel’s attitude and discipline is superb, and her enthusiasm reminds me of another student Ruby, who recently went on to get her black belt.
I’m sure if Mabel continues to show the same enthusiasm and attitude over the next several years she too will emulate Ruby’s success by achieving her Black Belt.
Well Done Mabel, Keep up the good work!!
Due to the current situation RE: The COVID-19 virus students will be assessed throughout the coming month(s) during class instead of at a formal grading. Those that missed the last grading will most likely grade before those who recently graded, providing they attendance is good and their ability is at the required level.
